1. What is the procedure for renting a furnished apartment or a furnished studio apartment for rent in Hong Kong?
If you want to rent a furnished apartment in Hong Kong, here is what you need to do:
- Contact us and we will schedule a viewing appointment for you at our properties.
- Once you decide which furnished studio apartments for rent you want, we will sign a Tenancy Agreement.
- Then the Tenancy Agreement will be stamped at the Inland Revenue Department of HKSAR, in compliance with the laws of HKSAR. The stamp duty fee will be shared by both the Landlord and Tenant normally.
2. When does the lease start?
The lease starts when you first move into your furnished studio in Hong Kong.
3. How do I pay rent?
Furnished apartment Hong Kong rental fees can be paid by direct deposit to bank, bank cheque, or cash.
4. What will happen when the lease ends?
Our staff will contact you in advance to see if you decide to renew the lease or check out. We will sign a new lease if you’d like to continue to stay in your current furnished apartment in Hong Kong. On the other hand, if you decide to leave, we will schedule a check-out appointment with you to go over the condition of things in the furnished studio in Hong Kong for rent. This way, we can determine if there would be any additional fees we need to charge for cleaning or replacing items in the unit. Any remaining dollars in the deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks after the lease end date of your furnished studio for rent.
